6:25 ...well, to say it bluntly...base 12 is great for natural phenomena and day to day tasks of farmers and hunters and such, but decimal just scales effortlessly to wherever you want and you can handle it in your mind comparably easily...and most Americans would possibly agree that bigger is better, right? Decimal gets you bigger >and< smaller...that's why Murican scientists also use decimal, because they need to work and think at vastly different scales all the time that need to be transferable easily...so for shopping and cooking and farming your backyard, ok, base 12 might be better, but otherwise I'd never want to go imperial...is to me like wanting to feed a RISC based chip with x86 instructions or vice versa 😅

Actually it cannot be, the prove just uses the same fluke, so it's circular, masking that 0,3period times 3, does not equal 1 but is 0,9period and nothing else...but you have that everywhere...possibly that's where base 12 system might be superior, which is of utmost interest, since this fluke shows clearly in
computer sciences, where different systems, calculate differently and then just put a filter over actual accuracy...the thing is in most cases not the inaccuracy, but the inconsistency and in some cases also the consistency within the calculations...like when an actual error is being handled as absolutely true, while it is merely an approximation...so we'd kinda need new mathematics that rely on finites only...strictly...at least for parts of computing...it might make many things work that failed so far for unknown reasons.
